TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HOLYWELL STREET, ST MARYS GATE, CHESTERFIELD

WHEN: 17 September to 20 September 2025.
WHERE: Holywell Street, St Marys Gate, Chesterfield from its Jct. with Church Way to its Jct. with the Donut Interchange.
REASON: To facilitate resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clockwise - Donut Interchange, Brewery Street, Malkin Street, A61 Inner Relief Road, A61 Off Slip, A632, Lordsmill Interchange, Lordsmill Street.
Anti-Clockwise - Lordsmill Street, Lordsmill Interchange, A632, A61 On Slip, A61 to Whittington Interchange, B6057.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
