NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council have
made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle/pedestrian from proceeding in that section of road
that comprises of the railway level crossing area on Joan Croft
Lane/Middle Lane at Holme in the City of Doncaster District as
described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times
referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst rail works on the level crossing are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/
pedestrians affected by the Order is via Middle Lane, Rockley
Lane, Doncaster Road, High Street, Station Road, Moss Road,
Trumfleet Lane, Moss Lane, Marsh Road, Thorpe Lane, Bell Croft
Lane, Joan Croft Lane and vice versa.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council have
made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Highfield Lane at
Trumfleet in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to excavate to install approximately 140
meters of telecoms cable to link into existing apparatus are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order. Those residents and businesses directly
affected by the works will be notified of the scheme and access
arrangements.

made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation

the northern kerb line of its junction with High Street for a
distance of 15 metres in a south easterly direction
2) Parking Bay - Limited Waiting 3 Hours, No Return Within 1
Hour Mon-Sat 8am-6pm (29 metres) east side of West Street
from a point 4.5 metres from its junction with the northern kerb

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council have
made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the roads and the effect will be to
prohibit any vehicle from proceeding and/or exceeding the
speed limits in those lengths of Askern Road at Carcroft and the
A19 Doncaster Road at Owston in the City of Doncaster District
as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce, introduce a reduced temporary speed limit in
conjunction with convoy operations on the A19 Doncaster Road,
Owston in order to provide sufficient carriageway width remains
for vehicles travelling past the area of works whilst junction
realignment works are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is as described in the Schedule to this
notice.

i) Introduce a 40 mph temporary speed limit from a point 350
meters north of its junction with Askern Road, Carcroft for a
distance of 200 metres in a southerly direction.
ii) Introduce a 30 mph temporary speed limit from a point 150
meters north of its junction with Askern Road, Carcroft for a
distance of 50 meters in a southerly direction.
3) A19 Doncaster Road, Owston northbound direction
i) Introduce a 40 mph temporary speed limit from a point 350
meters south of its junction with Askern Road, Carcroft for a
distance of 200 metres in a northerly direction.
ii) Introduce a 30 mph temporary speed limit from a point 150
meters south of its junction with Askern Road, Carcroft for a
distance of 50 meters in a northerly direction.
4) A19 Doncaster Road, Owston Introduce a 10 mph temporary
speed limit for the purposes of undertaking Convoy operations
between a point 100 meters north to 100 meters south of its
junction with Askern Road, Carcroft in both directions.
Dates and Times
08:00hrs 29th August 2025 until 15:00hrs 24th October 2025
The speed limits shown as 40mph and 30 mph together with
temporary traffic signals will remain in place 24hrs a day.
The 10mph speed limit in place between 08:00hrs and 15:00hrs
and will only be limited to those sections of the road being
resurfaced and controlled by convoy vehicles to maintain this
speed past the workforce as reduced safety zones will be in
place.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although all
closures to be completed by the 30th November 2025

Askern Road, Station Road, Bentley Moor Lane UU, Bentley
Moor Lane, Doncaster Road and vice versa.

be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Barnby Dun Road
at Clay Lane in the City of Doncaster District as described in the

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council

make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the roads and the effect will be to
prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or waiting in those
lengths of Bank Street, High Street and Garden Street at
Mexborough in the City of Doncaster District and suspend the
One Way Orders as described in the Schedule to this notice on
the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst nighttime resurfacing works are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Dolcliffe Road, Lower Dolcliffe Road,
Hartley Street, Wath Road Mexborough Relief Road Roundabout,
Greens Way. Those residents and businesses directly affected
by the works are to be notified of the scheme to include access
arrangements.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of
the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Any
contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed by this
Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued and
the subsequent removal of a vehicle.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
proposes to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a No waiting at any
time restriction on the following lengths of road:-
A) Micklebring Lane, Micklebring
North side
i) From its junction with Greaves Sike Lane for a distance of 40
metres in a generally easterly direction
South side
i) From its junction with Back Lane for a distance of 43 metres
in a generally easterly direction
b) Ruddle Lane, Micklebring
Southeast side
i) From its junction with Back Lane for a distance of 43 metres
in a generally easterly direction
c) Back Lane, Micklebring
East side
i) From its junction with Micklebring Lane for a distance of 13
metres in a generally southerly direction
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading
goods and in connection with building industrial or demolition
operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic, the
maintenance of the roads and the services therein in pursuance
of statutory powers or duties, for the collection and delivery of
postal packets or if it is a vehicle being operated by or on behalf
of the South Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnerships while
carrying out roadside monitoring or enforcement operations. The
usual exceptions for disabled persons vehicles will also apply.
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the
restricted roads and a statement of the Councils reasons for
proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Council
Office, Civic Office, Waterdale Doncaster between the hours of 9
am and 4.30 pm or on the City of Doncaster Council Website via
