(Barrowby Lane, Garforth, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because the delivery of large steel bridge sections for the construction of new bridge, is proposed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Barrowby Lane, Garforth, Leeds, from its junction with Barwick Road to its end. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Monday 1st September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Mount Pleasant Road, Pudsey, Leeds)
(Temporary No Waiting or Parking) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) requiring the delivery of Portakabins, Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or park along either side of Mount Pleasant Road, Pudsey, Leeds, between its junction of Clifton Road and Pudsey Grammar School. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Tuesday 26th August 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 27th August 2025. The closure will be in place between 08:00 hours and 16:00 hours each day. M Green. Ref: ECO2500216

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works to create a new entrance road, are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Holywell Lane, Shadwell, Leeds, between Brandon Golf Club and Shadwell Recreation Ground. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Holywell Lane, Main Street and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. Access to Spencer Court Road will be maintained with road plates. The Order shall come into operation on Monday 8th September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas mains replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Potternewton Lane, Leeds, between its junctions with Scott Hall Road and Miles Hill Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Scott Hall Road, Stainbeck Lane, Stainbeck Road, Potternewton Lane. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Friday 5th September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That because works to repair a collapsed sewer and restore services are being executed on or near the under mentioned highways, Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Kirkgate, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward, west of its junction with Central Road, outside Number 15 Kirkgate. The Order shall come into operation on Thursday 21 August 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, or until the works are completed if earlier. (Church Street, Boston Spa, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That because new water supply connection works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Church Street, Boston Spa, Leeds in the Wetherby Ward between its junctions with Appletree Close and a point adjacent to No.62 Church Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Primrose Lane, Clifford Moor Road, High Street and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 3rd September 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 9th September 2025. The closure will be in place 24 hours per each day. K Krawczyk. (Definitive Footpath Micklefield No. 7)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to due to safety concerns regarding the public use of the above footpath where it meets a railway crossing, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall proceed on foot Closure of Definitive Footpath Micklefield No.7; from its junction with Definitive Footpath Micklefield No.13 to its junction with Definitive Footpath Micklefield No.6 (Kippax and Methley Ward). A Diversionary route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be Great North Road and Definitive Footpath Nos. Micklefield 16, Micklefield 3, Micklefield 12 and Micklefield 6 and vice-versa. Alternatively, pedestrians may proceed via Definitive Footpath Micklefield No.13, FP 35.39/3/1 (North Yorkshire), FP 35.59/2/1 (North Yorkshire) and Definitive Footpath Micklefield No 6. The Order is intended to come into operation on 11 September 2025 and to remain in force 24 hours per day, for a maximum period of 6 months. Network Rail anticipate that the closed section of Definitive Footpath Micklefield No.7 to be permanently diverted by the end of the year. Reference TC10121.
(Definitive Footpaths Aberford Nos. 6 & 8)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the renewal of a motorway boundary fence on or near the under mentioned footpath, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall proceed on foot in a northerly or southerly direction for a distance approximately 800m between the junctions of Definitive Footpaths Aberford 6 & Aberford 8, Harewood Ward . A Diversionary route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be available via Main Street, Lotherton Lane, Stocking Lane, Kingfisher Lane and vice-versa. Alternatively, pedestrians may continue to use Definitive Footpaths Aberford 6 & 8 by proceeding in a westerly/easterly direction (as appropriate) around the closure points. Pedestrians wishing to access Definitive Footpath Aberford 6 to the west of the Motorway bridge, should turn left from Field Lane at the Arabian Public House. The Order is intended to come into operation on 1 September 2025 and to remain in force 24 hours per day, for a maximum period of 6 months. The works are expected to be completed by 3 October 2025.
