Ginhall Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Installation Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U93607, Ginhall Lane, Leominster, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U93607, Ginhall Lane, Leominster, Outside Ebnall Cottages near junction with B4529. Grid Ref: 347524/258972.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4529 onto the A44 onto Pierrepont Rd and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to installation of LV cable works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th of September 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.
