(SOUTH CASTLE STREET & MARKET STREET, ST ANDREWS)

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2025

Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 –

(i)   prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic on South Castle St (from North St to South St); and Market St (from Union St to South Castle St); and

(ii)  prohibiting the waiting and loading of vehicles on Market St (north side from  Union St to College St).

The Order is to allow SPEN works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 01/09/25 to 10/11/25 or until earlier completion of the works. The alternative route for through traffic will be via North St, South St and Union St. Access for emergency service vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be maintained.
