Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Due To Utility Crossing Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U82100, Belmont Road Service Road (Odd Nos 223-257), Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U82100, Belmont Road Service Road (Odd Nos 223-257), Hereford, between 211 Belmont Road & Goodrich Grove. Grid Ref: 349726/238510.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via The Oval circular and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to utility crossing for private power asset works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 25th of August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
