What is happening?
BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE
(MARTLETT AVENUE, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Martlet Avenue from its junction with Plover Close, in an easterly direction for a distance of 311 metres
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Martlet Avenue from its junction with Plover Close, in an easterly direction for a distance of 311 metres.
The Order is required to facilitate resurfacing of the carriageway within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 8th September 2025 until 17:00 on the 6th October 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Norden Road, War Office Road, Wordsworth Way, Bamford Way, Martlet Avenue & vice versa.
(NOON SUN STREET, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Noon Sun Street from its junction with Grasmere Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 20 metres
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Noon Sun Street from its junction with Noon Sun Street, Rochdale direction for a distance of 20 metres.
The Order is required to facilitate foul water and surface water drainage within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 15th September 2025 until 23:59 on the 17th September 2025.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Grasmere Street, Grouse Street, Medley Street & vice versa.
