What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

HEATH TERRACE, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works to install long pipe.

Order Commences: 26 August 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 29 August 2025.

Access & Diversion: Heath Terrace, Union Road, Rugby Road, Guys Cliffe Road and vice versa. Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

D45550 CHURCH LANE, CUBBINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Rugby Road and High Street.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.00hrs.

Order Commences: 29 August 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 29 August 2025.

Access & Diversion: Rugby Road, Windmill Hill, Queen Street, High Street and vice versa. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

D44160 UPPER HILL STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.

Order Commences: 28 August 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 28 August 2025.

Access & Diversion: Waller Street, Campion Road, Lillington Road, Lower Villiers Street and vice versa.

Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

KENILWORTH STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to renew a water hydrant, closed 08.00hrs-16:00hrs.

Order Commences: 24 August 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 24 August 2025.

Access & Diversion: Regent Street, Regent Grove, Clarendon Street, Warwick Street and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

D6726 MARSTON AVENUE & D6722 CROMWELL PLACE (EAST), LIGHTHORNE HEATH

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: D6726 Marston Avenue, Lighthorne Heath – Closed between Southam Crescent roundabout and Valiant Close/Leamington Road. D6722 Cromwell Place (East), Lighthorne Heath – Closed in its entirety.

Reason for Order: Footpath reconstruction and associated works, 09.00hrs-15.30hrs, weekdays only.

Order Commences: 8 September 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 26 September 2025.

Access & Diversion: D6726 Marston Avenue, Lighthorne Heath: Southam Road, Leamington Road and vice versa. D6722 Cromwell Place (East), Lighthorne Heath:

No suitable diversion.

Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel:03452 415 302.

THE BANK, LIGHTHORNE

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to construct a new joint box.

Order Commences: 8 September 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 8 September 2025.

Access & Diversion: The Bank, Chesterton Road, The Green, Church Lane and vice versa. Contractor: M J Quinn, Tel: 01543 547 118.

RADFORD ROAD, OFFCHURCH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works for new water connection.

Order Commences: 8 September 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 10 September 2025.

Access & Diversion: Radford Road, Welsh Road, Fosse Way, Southam Road, Offchurch Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: Network Plus, Tel: 01332 820 920.

D41930, CHURCH STREET, WARWICK

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Northgate Street to A429.

Reason for Order: Carriageway maintenance of block and assoc works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 7 September 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 7 September 2025.

Access & Diversion: Old Square, New Street, Market Place, Market Street, Bowling Green Street, A429. Please note: Parts of the diversion route is restricted for vehicles over 7.5t and for long vehicles.

HOLYWELL, ROWINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from High Cross Lane to Holywell Farm.

Reason for Order: To enable works to renew water main.

Order Commences: 8 September 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 3 November 2025.

Access & Diversion: Lye Green, The Cumsey, Shrewley Common, Back Lane, High Cross Farm Road, High Cross Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 03301 744 388.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
