CHATHAM (PARKING PLACES AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO.37) ORDER 2025
NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
Boundary Road, Chatham ME4 6UW
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Medway Council proposes to make the above-mentioned order under sections 1, 2, 45, 46, 51, 53 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the amendment order will be to remove the parking bay outside No.143 to accommodate a 5.6-metre dropped kerb (vehicle crossing) for driveway access. Permit holders sign and post are to be relocated.
Any objections or other representations about the proposed order should be sent in writing by email to TROconsult@medway.gov.uk or by post to Parking Design Team at the address specified in the paragraph below or by Friday, 19 September 2025 stating name, address and the grounds for objection or support.
Copies of the order and of other documents giving more detailed particulars of the order can be inspected at Medway Council, Gun Wharf, Dock Road, Chatham, ME4 4TR during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except for bank and public holidays. Alternatively, electronic copies of the documents can be requested by sending an email to TROconsult@medway.gov.uk on the understanding requests may take up to five working days to be processed and completed.
