SCOTBY AVENUE AREA, GILLINGHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary road closures to enable the gas main to be renewed
Scotby Avenue - between Lordswood Lane and Weatherall Drive;
Wetherall Drive - between Scotby Avenue and 1 Wetherall Drive;
Lordswood Lane - between Scotby Avenue and the rear of 1 Camden Close.
Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be available and signed as the works progress.
This order will come into force on Monday, 25 August 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The Scotby Avenue and Wetherall Drive works are due to commence on or after Monday, 25 August 2025. Lords Wood Lane works are due to commence Monday, 15 September 2025. Works are programmed for completion by 27 October 2025. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

CHERBOURG CRESCENT, CHATHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable manhole cover replacement works to be carried out
Cherbourg Crescent, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Eden Avenue and No. 32 Cherbourg Crescent. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Wayfield Road, Eden Avenue and Cherbourg Crescent.
This order will come into force on Wednesday, 1 October 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after 1 October and are programmed for completion within 1 day. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

CHATHAM HILL, CHATHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable manhole replacement works to be carried out in the carriageway
Chatham Hill, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 22 Chatham Hill. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Luton Road, Luton High Street, Capstone Road, Pear Tree Lane, Hempstead Road, A278, A2, Rainham Road, Chatham Hill, in both directions.
This order will come into force on Thursday, 4 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Thursday, 4 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within one night (10.30pm–5am). The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

BROMPTON LANE, CHATHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable gas main replacement works to be carried out
Brompton Lane, Chatham – to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with City Way and the junction with Grove Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. The road will be closed in stages (a rolling road closure). An alternative route will be available and signed as the works progress.
This order will come into force on Monday, 30 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 30 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within 11 weeks. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

BEECHWOOD AVENUE, GILLINGHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing and other associated highway works to be carried out
Beechwood Avenue, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Watling Street and the junction with Osprey Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Watling Street, Darland Avenue and Osprey Avenue, in both directions.
This order will come into force on Tuesday, 2 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 2 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within one day. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
