What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400660 CHAPEL LANE
(EGLINGTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400660 Chapel Lane Road from outside the property known as ‘Keystones Cottage’ to outside the property known as ‘Barn Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 58 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for sewer repair works.
The said road is expected to be closed between 08:00hrs and 16:30hrs each day from 26th August 2025 until 8th September 2025 or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
Alternative Route — as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the said road will be maintained. Emergency access, whilst vehicles, will not be maintained due to the works including digging up to the carriageway.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4077 FORD MANOR TO CHARNAL PLANTATION (TEMPLE GUITING PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4077 Ford Manor Road to Charnal Plantation from its junction with Windsors Court to outside the property known as ‘The Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 37 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for bridge maintenance works.

Alternative Route — as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the said road will be maintained. Emergency access will not be maintained due to the road being excavated.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4479 RAILWAY LINE TO EBRINGTON PARISH BOUNDARY (BLOCKLEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4479 Railway Line to Ebrington Parish boundary road from outside the property known as The Churchill Arms to outside Brookside for a distance of approximately 477 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for bridge heavy works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 8th September 2025 until 10th September 2025 or until the said works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4632 BROADWAY ROAD (WILLERSEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4632 Broadway Road from its junction with Campden Lane to its junction with Field Lane for a distance of approximately 348 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for footway construction works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 8th September 2025 until 19th September 2025 or until the said works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (CLAPTON AND SHERBORNE PARISHES) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below:

The said roads are expected to be closed from 09:30hrs on 8th September 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day, subject to weather or site conditions.
This Order may permit the road to be closed wholly or in part, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be finished by 15:30hrs on 8th September.

The reason for the said closure is for new water connection works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 10th September 2025 until 12th September 2025 or until the said works have been completed.
