THE A1400 GLA ROAD (WOODFORD AVENUE, LONDON BOROUGH OF REDBRIDGE) (BUS PRIORITY) TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 12th August 2025 it made the above named Order, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 22nd August 2025.
The general nature and effect of the Order will be to introduce new bus lanes on the:
(a) A1400 Woodford Avenue, north-westbound between a point 45 metres northwest of Keswick Gardens to a point 89 metres south of Clayhall Avenue, operating Mon - Fri 7am - 10am and 4pm - 7pm*, allowing Buses, Dial-a-Ride Buses, Pedal Cycles, Taxis and Solo Motorcycles;
(b) A1400 Woodford Avenue, south-eastbound between a point 155 metres southeast of Clayhall Avenue to a point 17 metres north of Grasmere Gardens, operating Mon - Fri 7am - 10am and 4pm - 7pm*, allowing Buses, Dial-a-Ride Buses, Pedal Cycles, Taxis and Solo Motorcycles.
The road which would be affected by the Order is the A1400 GLA Road – Woodford Avenue in the London Borough of Redbridge.
A copy of the Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected by visiting our website at https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/tro and selecting the relevant borough and reference. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
