WEST STREET, RAINHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out

West Street, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 8 William Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via B2004 Station Road, Henry Street, Taswell Road, in both directions.

This order will come into force on Wednesday, 24 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 24 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within 7 days. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

HOOPERS ROAD, ROCHESTER (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic whilst carriageway patching works are taking place

Hoopers Road, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic for the entire length. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via John Street to King St to Maidstone Rd.

This order will come into force on Tuesday, 2 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 2 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within 1 day. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

EASTGATE TERRACE, ROCHESTER (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable gas mains repair works to be carried out.

Eastgate Terrace – to be closed to all vehicular traffic on the side of 150 High Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. The alternative access to High Street will remain available. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

This order will come into force on Monday, 15 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 15 September 2025 and are programmed for completion by Wednesday, 17 September 2025. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

HAM LANE, CHATHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing and other associated highway works to be carried out

Ham Lane, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with Lidsing Road/Capstone Road to Shawstead Road at the council recycling centre (allowing access to recycling centre entrance). Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Capstone Road, North Dane Way, Shawstead Road, in both directions.

This order will come into force on Tuesday, 2 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 2 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within one day (7am–7pm). The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

FOOTPATH RS1, ISLE OF GRAIN (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions to enable coastal drainage repair works to be carried out

Footpath RS1, Isle of Grain - to be closed between Cockleshell Hard Jetty and near White Hall Farm. No alternative route is available. This order will come into operation on Friday, 5 September 2025 (continuing the provisions of a closure Notice issued on 1 September, 2025, and will be valid for a maximum period of six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works were due to commence on or after Monday, 1 September and are programmed for completion by 9 October 2025. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

HOLLAND ROAD, CHATHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway patching works to be carried out

Holland Road, Chatham – to be closed to all vehicular traffic between Hook Close and 31 Holland Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Holland Road, Watson Avenue, Barberry Avenue, Amethyst Avenue, Concord Avenue, Hillview Way and return in both directions.

This order will come into force on Saturday, 20 September 2025 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Saturday, 20 September 2025 and are programmed for completion within 1 day. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
