Dawson Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Water Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL DAWSON LANE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Dawson Lane, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Dawson Lane from its junction with Tong Street to a point of the side of No. 136 Tong Street.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Dawson Lane (unaffected section), Ferrand Avenue, Shetcliffe Lane, Tong Street and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation effect at 08:00 hours on the 25th August 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 31st August 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
