U7035 AESCIA ROAD HALTWHISTLE

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7035 Aescia Road Haltwhistle from its junction with U7047 Fair Hill heading in a north westerly direction for a distance of 26 meters in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 15th September 2025 until the 19th September 2025. It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 15th September 2025 between the hours of 09:00-13:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th September 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the road is closed for vehicles via U7035, C302, U7047 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U5002 ROAD TO NEAR HILLOCK, ROCHESTER

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U5002 Road to Near Hillock from its point with the front of number 14 Brennewich Way heading in a northwards direction for a distance of 24 meters in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 8th September 2025 until the 11th September 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th September 2025 until the 9th September 2025 and that the road will only be closed on both days during the hours of 09:00-15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 11th September 2025.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

B6323 PORTERLAND ROAD HEDDON-ON-THE-WALL

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6323 Porterland Road Heddon-on-the-Wall from its junction with the C343 Heddon-on-the-Wall from its junction with the C343 Heddon-On-The-Wall from its junction with the C343

Heddon-On-The-Wall heading in a southerly direction in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 8th September 2025 until the 29th September 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th September 2025 until the 29th September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th September 2025.

Resurfacing works will take place between 22nd September and 29th September 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C343, C257, A69 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U8267 TYNE GARDENS AND U8267 WINDSOR CRESCENT OVINGHAM

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland:

  • U8267 Tyne Gardens from its junction with U8267 Windsor Crescent heading in a south eastwards direction for a distance of 166 meters.

  • U8267 Windsor Crescent from its junction with U8267 Tyne Gardens heading in a north westwards direction for a distance of 37 meters.

  • U8267 Windsor Crescent from its junction with U8269 Ovingham Road heading in a north westwards direction for a distance of 45 meters.

    The Order is to be effective from the 15th September 2025 until the 8th December 2025.

    It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 15th September 2025 until the 19th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00-16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th December 2025.

    An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Windsor Crescent and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U8187 ST HELENS STREET CORBRIDGE

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8187 St Helens Street Corbridge from its junction with B6321 Princes Street heading in a north westward direction for a distance of 28 meters in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 7th September 2025 until the 9th September 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 7th September 2025 between the hours of 09:00-13:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 9th September 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6529, U8187 and B6321 and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8293 St Marks Road from its junction with Priestlands Close heading in a southward direction for a distance of 33 meters in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 13th September 2025 until the 31st October 2025. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th September 2025 until the 17th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00-16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st October 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via St Marks Road, St Johns Road, St Pauls Road, St Lukes Road and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

B6295 ALLENDALE TOWN TO CATTON

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6295 Allendale Town To Catton Allendale from its junction with C295 Allendale To Sinderhope heading in a north westward direction for a distance of 581 meters in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 25th August 2025 until the 27th February 2026.

It is expected that the road will be closed at all times from the 25th August 2025 until the 5th October 2025 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th February 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6295, B6303 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U8239 GREENWICH GARDENS AND LANGLEY GARDENS HAYDON BRIDGE

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic of the following sections in the County of Northumberland:

U8239 Greenwich Gardens from its northern junction with Langley Gardens heading southwards and then eastwards for a distance of 237 meters. U8239 Langley Gardens from its southern junction with Greenwich Gardens heading in a northern direction for a distance of 10 meters.

The Order is to be effective from the 26th August 2025 until the 17th November 2025.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 26th August 2025 until the 29th August 2025 between the hours of 08:00-16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th November 2025.

There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8176 Bridge End Roundabout To Codlaw Hill Junction Wall from its junction with U8173 Carr Hill Farm Junction To Military Road Junction heading in a southward direction for a distance of 103 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 26th August 2025 until the 17th November 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 26th August 2025 until the 29th August 2025 between the hours of 08:00-16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th November 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8173, B6318, C239, C238 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U8210 THORNTON HOUSE BACK LANE TO HAGG BANK WYLAM

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8210 Thornton House Back Lane To Hagg Bank Wylam for a distance of 23 metres in a westerly direction from its junction with U8210 Wylam Wood Road Eden Bank Road Back Lane heading in a westerly direction for a distance of 15 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 26th August 2025 until the 29th August 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 29th August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00, during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 29th August 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8120, B6395, A695, B6317, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8292 Bishopton Way Hexham from its junction with U8297 Causey Hill Road heading in a westerly direction for a distance of 300 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th March 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th March 2026.

There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland:

  • A696 Saugh House to Knowesgate from its junction with U5044 Hirkheaton to Knowesgate Junction for a distance of 2420 metres in a south-easterly direction.

  • B6342 Throckrington Junction To Shiel Hill from its junction with A696 for a distance of 706 metres in a south-westerly direction.

  • B6342 Shieldhall to Cambo from its junction with A696 for a distance of 345 metres in a north-easterly direction.

    The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 31st October 2025.

    It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 31st October 2025.

    Alternative routes will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force:

  • To the north: A696, B6342 and vice versa

  • To the south: A696, B6545, B6323, A69, A68, B6342 and vice versa

  • To the east: B6342, C195 and vice versa

    Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 28th November 2025.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th September 2025 between the hours of 18:00-06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 28th November 2025.

(TEMPORARY ROAD AND FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular and pedestrian traffic on that section of the U8152 Station Road Barrasford 10 metres north eastwards from its junction with U8254 East Acres heading in a north eastward direction for a distance of 25 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 27th August 2025 until the 9th September 2025.

It is expected that the road and footway will only be closed from the 27th August 2025 until the 2nd September 2025 the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 9th September 2025.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U8152, U8254 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

No pedestrian access diversion route in place.

U9131 CALVUS DRIVE HEDDON-ON-THE-WALL

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 that the following restrictions will continue to be in force:

Temporary Road Closure

A Road Closure will remain in force on the U9131 Calvus Drive, Heddon-on-the-Wall from its junction with Valerian Avenue in a southerly direction for a distance of 88 metres (the “road”) in the County of Northumberland.

An alternative route will be available for use being via Valerian Avenue, Martins Avenue, Calvus Drive and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to excavate, clean and reinsate a collapsed sewer.
