What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

A435 ALCESTER BYPASS, ALCESTER
Order Effect: Road closed from Arden Road Roundabout (Kings Coughton) to Evesham Street Roundabout (Alcester) — Northbound and Southbound carriageways. 10 MPH Speed Limit from Arden Road Roundabout (Kings Coughton) and Evesham Street Roundabout (Alcester) — Northbound and Southbound Carriageways.
Reason for Order: The closures/temporary speed limits are required to facilitate carriageway surface dressing and associated treatments including the removal/replacement of road studs, pre-surface dressing patching, replacement of road markings, sand carpeting and road sweeping.
Order Commences: 26 August 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 30 September 2025.
Access & Diversion: A422, A441, B4090 Saltway, B4090 Alcester Heath and vice versa. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible and safe to do so for businesses and residents only.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

C39 BURFORD LANE, SPERNAL
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Upper Spernall Farm Road to Shelfield Green Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 9 September 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 10 September 2025.
Access & Diversion: Burford Lane, Alcester Road, Henley Road, Village Road, Spernal Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
