Dorset Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Temporary Traffic Regulation Revocation Order 2025 – Poole Road, Upton

  1. NOTICE is hereby given that Dorset Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make a Revocation Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-

(a) WHEREAS Dorset Council (“the Council”) in the exercise of its powers under section 14 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers made the Dorset Council (Poole Road, Upton) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2024 (“the previous order”) on 30 August 2024.

(b) The previous order was required to enable Dorset Council to carry out highway improvement works and was due to come into force on 16 September 2024.

(c) AND WHEREAS the restrictions should apply to all traffic the Council now intends to make this Revocation Order which revokes the previous order and has no other effect.

  1. This Order comes into force on 29 August 2025
