Poole, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Highway Improvement Works

What is happening?

BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL

UPTON CROSS PROJECT, POOLE -HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT WORKS TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REVOCATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make a Revocation Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the effect of revoking the prohibitions of the previous temporary traffic regulation order made on 22 August 2024 which were:

WHERE, WHAT, AND WHEN:

A350 Upton Country Park slip road from its junction with the A350 to the entrance to Upton Country Park. Road closed to all vehicles and no parking -no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time.

Anticipated dates: Monday 16th September to Friday 22nd November 2024. A350 westbound inside lane closed overnight for approximately 100m at the Upton Country Park slip road exit for safety reasons whilst resurfacing works take place.

Anticipated dates: Monday 18th November to Thursday 21st November 2024 (overnight works)

WHY: Highway improvement works by Dorset Council

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained.

DIVERSION: Via Upton Bypass, Blandford Road North, Poole Road

VIEW AT: https://one.network/?tm=139674603 AND WHEREAS the restrictions should apply to all traffic the Council now intends to make this Revocation Order which revokes the previous order made on 22 August 2024 and has no other effect.
