Temporary Closure of Knapp Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Knapp Road - from the junction with Higher Knapp Lane, south-westwards for a total distance of 1319 metres. This Order will enable Core Highways to replace gas kiosk transformer rectifier on behalf of Wales and West Utilities.

The Order becomes effective on 4th September 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months.

The works are expected to commence on 8th September 2025 and last until 10th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 3 days.
