What is happening?

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(BILSTON ROAD RHT/HOSPITAL STREET)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following stretches of road:
· Right hand turn on Bilston Road A41 into Hospital
Street closed. Vehicular diversion route: Bilston
Road, Steelhouse Lane, Kent Road, Dixon Street,
Thompson Avenue, Birmingham Road, Derry
Street, Vicarage Road, Cleveland Road and vice
versa.
· Hospital Street closed its entire length in both
directions.

The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, and it is anticipated that the works
will be undertaken from 28 August 2025 at 09:30 until
28 February 2027 at 15:30.
The Order is required to facilitate new development
works by Morro Partnerships.
