Feoffee Common Lane, Barmby Moor - Temporary Traffic Regulation
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC Part of Feoffee Common Lane, Barmby Moor
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along part of Feoffee Common Lane, Barmby Moor from its junction with A1079 York Road northbound to the access of Duck Wing Park commencing 25 September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 until 15:30 for the purpose of providing safe working space for engineer to access telephone poles in order to provide fibre overhead cabling work. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 6 hours. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via: Feoffee Common Lane, Sand Lane, A1079 Hull Road, A1079 York Road, Newton on Derwent CP, Barmby Moor CP, Wilberfoss CP, Pocklington Provincial Ward The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all through traffic, but access will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
