(RUSHBY MEAD, LETCHWORTH) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS GIVEN that The North Herts Council (pursuant to arrangement made with Hertfordshire County Council) proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
A brief description of the lengths of road affected by these proposals are set out in Schedule 1 to this notice. The criteria for eligibility for permits are set out in Schedule 2. Rushby Mead, Letchworth Garden City Zone D would be a new Zone D to be created. The permit charges would be as set out in Schedule 3 to this notice.
Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft Orders, the plans and the statements of reasons which may be inspected at the offices of North Herts Council, Gernon Road, Letchworth, or may be viewed on the Council’s website at www.north-herts.gov.uk and by link to https://www.north-herts.gov.uk/parking-orders-and-reviews from 21st August 2025.

Permit Charges - Zone D – charges for one permit as set out in the Order -
Parking Permit for eligible residents £86 per annum, maximum 1 Permit;
Business Permit £86 per annum, maximum 1 Business Permit for 2 operational vehicles; Visitor Permit £86 per annum, maximum of 1 Visitors Permit; Visitor Ticket £12.50 per book of 10 single use tickets.
