What is happening?

(ISLIP) (ONE-WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS GIVEN that on 15 August 2025 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order, which comes into force on 22 August introduces a One-Way traffic system in part of Mill Street in the direction (east to west) from Kings Head Lane to The Walk.
This is associated with a proposal to introduce traffic signal control on the B4027 at Islip Bridge – including the crossroads junction of the B4027 Kings Head Walk/ Wheatley Road with Mill Street, Lower Street.
The County of Oxfordshire (Traffic Regulation) Order No.4 1947 is revoked/replaced as necessary.

If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 15 August 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
