What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
(MILL CARR HILL ROAD, OAKENSHAW, BRADFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Mill Carr Hill Road, Oakenshaw, from its junction with Bradford Road along Mill Carr Hill Road in 3 phases PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:
Diversion 1 - Cliff Hollins Lane, Raikes Lane, South View Road, The Green, Hunsworth Lane, Whitehall Road West, Chainbar Roundabout, Bradford Road and vice versa
Diversion 2 - Mill Carr Hill Road, Greenfield Lane, Boy Lane, Rockhill Lane, Wharfdale Road, Merrydale Road, M606, Chainbar Roundabout, Bradford Road and vice versa
Diversion 3 - Cleckheaton Road, Odsal Top, Rooley Avenue, Staygate Road, M606, Chainbar Roundabout, Bradford Road and vice versa
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 26 August 2025 and remain in force until 3 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). Works to be carried out in 3 phases with overnight working for each phase 19.00 to 06.00.
(MILTON ROAD, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Milton Road, Liversedge from its junction with Norristhorpe Lane to a point approximately outside property no. 9 Milton Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Norristhorpe Lane, Liversedge Hall Lane, Cornmill Lane, unaffected part of Milton Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 26 August 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(FOXROYD LANE, THORNHILL, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Foxroyd Lane, Thornhill from its junction with Jackson Lane to its junction with Whitley Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Jackson’s Lane, Whitley Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 26 August 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 19 September 2025 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BRETTON STREET, SAVILE TOWN, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bretton Street, Savile Town PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bretton Street, Mill Street East, Savile Road, Station Road, Slaithwaite Road, Headfield Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 8 September 2025 and remain in force until 3 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LOWER GREEN AVENUE,
SCHOLES, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lower Green Avenue, Scholes from its junction with Scholes Lane to a point outside property no. 12 Lower Green Avenue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 8 September 2025 and remain in force until 19 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(HARTLEY COURT, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that entire length of Hartley Court, Liversedge to its junction with Victoria Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 8 September 2025 and remain in force until 12 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(ROBIN ROYD DRIVE, MIRFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Robin Royd Drive, Mirfield from its junction with Sunny Bank Road to a point approximately outside property no.40 Sunny Bank Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Robin Royd Drive, Robin Royd Avenue, Crossley Lane, Sunny Bank Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 26 August 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 1 September 2025 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
