Poole, Temporary Road Closures Due To Micro Surfacing Works

What is happening?

BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL MICRO SURFACING WORKS -VARIOUS ROADS IN POOLE TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT: Roads closed to all vehicles - suspension of parking - no parking, no waiting and no loading/unloading at any time will be permitted. Any vehicles left obstructing the works risk receiving a Penalty Charge Notice and being removed. Works are anticipated to take place from 8am until 6pm each day.

WHERE AND WHEN (Phased works):

Knights Road - anticipated date: 12 September 2025

Forest Road - anticipated dates: 16 & 17 September 2025

Canford Cliffs Road - anticipated dates: 18 & 25 September 2025

Haynes Avenue - anticipated date: 25 September 2025

Stokes Avenue - anticipated date: 26 September 2025

WHY: Micro surfacing works by BCP Council

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

DIVERSION: Via signed routes

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
