Dukeswood Drive, Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works

What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - DUKESWOOD DRIVE, HYTHE & DIBDEN, NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Dukeswood Drive between its junction with Heatherstone Avenue and continuing to a point 60 metres North on Dukeswood Drive.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Heatherstone Avenue, Partridge Road, Dukeswood Drive.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 3rd September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 08:30-15:30).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to complete pole replacement. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk.
