What is happening?

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (ALDER GROVE AND NORTHGATE ROAD, EDGELEY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) NOTICE 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time: Alder Grove, Edgeley (East Side) - From a point 17 metres north west of the intersection of the northern kerb line of Northgate Road to a point 11 metres south east of the southern kerb line of Northgate Road, Northgate Road, Edgeley (North Side) - From the intersection of the eastern kerb line of Alder Grove for a distance of 10.5 metres in a north easterly direction, and Northgate Road, Edgeley (South Side) - From the intersection of the eastern kerb line of Alder Grove for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction. Full details of these proposals are set out in the draft Order which, together with the map, may be obtained from Stockport Legal Services, Town Hall Stockport SK1 3XE.
