Beech Walk, Temporary Road Closure Due To Gas Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE - BEECH WALK, ANDOVER, TEST VALLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: that part of Beech Walk between its junction with Floral Way and its junction with Sycamore Walk.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Floral Way, Pine Walk, Cedar Walk, Floral Way.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 1st September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 26 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day). The Temporary Footpath Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for I&G Contractors to complete gas mains replacement.
