A229 The Common, Sissinghurst, TN17 2AF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A229 The Common, Sissinghurst, on or after 6th September 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Mount View. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

A262 Goudhurst Road, Cranbrook, TN17 2QA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new customer service works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A262 Goudhurst Road, Cranbrook, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 1 night or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Flishinghurst Farm, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Bodiam Road, Sandhurst, TN18 5LS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bodiam Road, Sandhurst, on or after 21st September 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Bodium Mill to Sandhurst Cross, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Silverden Lane, A268 Megrims Hill, A268 Rye Road, A229 Highgate Hill, A229 Moor Hill, A229 The Moor, B2244 Hastings Road, B2244 Hawkhurst Road, Castle Road, Peters Green Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Chapel Lane, Sissinghurst, TN17 2JL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chapel Lane, Sissinghurst, on or after 19th September 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Church House Oast, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Chapel Lane, A262 The Street, A262 Sissinghurst Road, A229 Wilsley Pound Roundabout, A229 Wilsley Green, A229 Angley Road, High Street, Stone Street, St Davids Bridge, The Hill, Bakers Cross, Golford Road, Chapel Lane and vice versa.
Colliers Green Road, Cranbrook (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Colliers Green Road, Cranbrook, on or after 18th September 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the entrance to Lynx Park Business Centre, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Colliers Green Road, Round Green Lane, Horden Road, Curtisden Green Lane, B2079 Winchett Hill, B2079 Summerhill, B2079 North Road, B2084 Chequers Road, A262 Cranbrook Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, Colliers Green Road and vice versa.
Cranbrook Road, Sissinghurst, TN17 2BY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow telegraph pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cranbrook Road, Sissinghurst, on or after 17th September 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Lodge Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Crittenden Road, Colt’s Hill (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Crittenden Road, Colt’s Hill, on or after 16th September 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of the entrance to Badsell Park Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A228 Colts Hill, A228 Maidstone Road Roundabout, B2017 Badsell Road, B2160 Maidstone Road, B2160 Gedges Hill, B2160 Maidstone Road, Chestnut Lane, Crittenden Road and vice versa.
Ethnam Lane, Sandhurst, TN18 5PR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ethnam Lane, Sandhurst, on or after 3rd September 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with A268 Rye Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.
Horsmonden Road, Brenchley, TN12 7AB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Horsmonden Road, Brenchley, on or after 7th September 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Paygate Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Hospice in the Weald Run, Royal Tunbridge Wells (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow the Hospice in the Weald Run event to be held, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on parts of Various Roads, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 21st September 2025 for up to 1 day or until the event been completed.
Various Roads, Royal Tunbridge Wells, as detailed below, between the hours of 09:30 and 12:30 only, shall be temporarily prohibited.
Castle Road will be closed between the junctions of A264 Church Road and A26 Eridge Road.
Major Yorks Road will be closed between the junctions of A26 Eridge Road and Nevill Park.
Nevill Park will be closed between Major Yorks Road and A264 Langton Road.
Hungershall Park will be closed between the junctions of Major Yorks Road to High Rocks Lane.
High Rocks Lane will be closed from Hungershall Park to the junction of Tea Garden Lane.
Tea Garden Lane will be closed between the junctions of High Rocks Lane and A264 Langton Road.
A264 Church Road will be closed between A26 London Road and A264 Mount Ephraim.
A264 Mount Ephraim will be closed between A264 Church Road to A264 Bishops Down.
A264 Bishops Down will be closed from A264 Mount Ephraim to A264 Langton Road.
A264 Langton Road will be closed from A264 Bishops Down to the junction of Holmewood Ridge.
Holmewood Ridge will be closed from the junction of A264 Langton Road to Broom Lane.
Broom Lane will be closed from the junction of Holmewood Ridge to Hillswood Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A26 London Road, A26 Eridge Road, London Road, Summersales Hill, Lye Green, B2188 Plumyfeather Lane, B2188 Cherry Gardens Hill, B2188 Hendal Hill, B2110 Withyham Road, B2110 Groombridge Hill, A264 Langton Road and vice versa.
Mount Pleasant, Lamberhurst (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water meter works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mount Pleasant, Lamberhurst, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Hoathley Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Mount Pleasant, Clayhill Road, B2169 Furnace Lane, B2169 The Down, B2100 The Slade, B2100 Town Hill, B2100 High Street, B2162 The Broadway, B2162 School Hill, Parsonage Lane, Mount Pleasant and vice versa.
