Reason: Utility work by Grub Construction.

(U44401 Abbey Lane, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of U44401 Abbey Ln from its junction with A4184 Abbey Rd to its junction with U44400 Abbey Ln.
Reason: New development works by Shannonside Civil Engineering/Taylor Wimpey.
There will be no access for emergency services, the alternative route must be maintained.
Alternative route: A4184 Abbey Rd, U44402 Merstow Green, U44400 Abbey Ln and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 32 days (24hrs).
Commencing: 16 September 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
District of Wychavon – Evesham Area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2025 [Prohibition of Waiting on Thistledown, Evesham]
On 7 August 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of road in Evesham:
Thistledown (northern arm)
Both sides: from its junction with Cheltenham Road for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction.
Thistledown (southern arm)
Both sides: from its junction with Cheltenham Road for a distance of 18 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 28 August 2025.

(B4084 Evesham Road/B4084 Main Road, Cropthorne) (Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2025
Order made: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of
Closure 1 – B4084 Evesham Rd from its junction with C2022 Brook Ln to its junction with C2223 Bricklehampton to B4084 Evesham Rd.
Closure 2 – B4084 Main Rd from its junction with C2223 Bricklehampton to B4084 Evesham Rd to its junction with C2124 Wick Rd.
Reason: To facilitate footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 32 days (24hrs).
Commencing: 26 August 2025.
