HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA (“y Cyngor”) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â’r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:

1. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 4ydd Medi 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw’n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw’r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau ar y 4ydd o Fedi 2025, yn gweithredu rhwng 08:00 – 17:00. Bydd y gwaith yn cael ei wneud mewn camau - gweler isod.
2. Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn gwneud gwaith polio mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad. Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.
3. Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd:

I. Cau dros dro ran o Heol y Parc Mawr, Grysmwnt, Sir Fynwy, o’i chyffordd â Heol Grysmwnt am ~325m.

Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio wedi’i arwyddo ar waith fel a ganlyn: Heol y Parc Mawr, Heol yr Hen Lys, Heol y Barri-Cathlea, Heol y Grysmwnt ac i’r gwrthwyneb.

Bydd hyn yn dod i rym rhwng 08:00 – 11:00, nodwch y gall yr amseroedd hyn newid yn dibynnu ar gynnydd y gwaith.

II. Cau dros dro ran o Heol y Grysmwnt, Grysmwnt, Sir Fynwy, ~2.40km i’r dwyrain o’i chyffordd â’r A465 am ~0.55km.

Llwybr Dargyfeirio: A465, Heol y Grysmwnt ac i’r gwrthwyneb.

Bydd y cau yn dod i rym rhwng 11:30 – 17:00 - nodwch y gall yr amseroedd hyn newid yn dibynnu ar gynnydd y gwaith.

1. Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio ar waith ar gyfer pob cam ac maent wedi eu rhestru uchod yng nghymal 3 o’r hysbysiad hwn
2. Gellir enwi’r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol y Parc Mawr a Heol Grysmwnt, Grysmwnt, Sir Fynwy 2025.
3. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(GREAT PARK ROAD AND GROSMONT ROAD, GROSMONT, MONMOUTHSHIRE)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

1. The Order shall come into operation on the 4th September 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed on the 4th September 2025, operating between 08:00 – 17:00. The works will be carried out in phases, please see below.
2. The order is necessary for poling works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.
3. The effect of the order will be:

I. To temporarily close a section of Great Park Road, Grosmont, Monmouthshire, from its junction with Grosmont Road for ~325m.

A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows: Great Park Road, Old Court Road, Barry-Cathlea Road, Grosmont Road and vice versa.

Closure will come into force between 08:00 – 11:00 please note that these times may be subject to change dependant on work progress.

II. To temporarily close a section of Grosmont Road, Grosmont, Monmouthshire, ~2.40km east from its junction with A465 for ~0.55km.

Diversion Route: A465, Grosmont Road and vice versa.

Closure will come into force between 11:30 – 17:00 please note that these times may be subject to change dependant on work progress.

1. A signed diversionary route will be in place for each closure and has been listed above in clause 3 of this notice.
2. This order may be cited as the Great Park Road and Grosmont Road, Grosmont, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025
3. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
