Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)
The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.
TYNEMOUTH DRIVE EN1 - 4578
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 1 September 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to close this road and suspend parking from its junction with Hoe Lane to No.1A Tynemouth Drive, on both sides of the carriageway. Whilst these restrictions are in place local diversions would be in operation.
RADCLIFFE ROAD N21 – 4579
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 1 September 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on this road between Nos.1 and 4 on both sides of the carriageway.
ALMA ROAD EN3 – 4580
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 2 September 2025 for 13 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on Alma Road EN3, from a point between Nos. 143/145 to its junction with Scotland Green Road North, on both sides of the carriageway.
BEECHEDALE N21 - 4581
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 18 August 2025 for 6 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to close this road and suspend parking from outside No.47 to its junction with Hillfield Park. Whilst these restrictions are in place local diversions would be in operation.
BEACONSFIELD ROAD EN3 - 4582
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 1 September 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to
close this road and suspend parking between Nos.82 and 94 on both sides of the carriageway; and
south side – suspend parking between Nos.121 and 131/133
Whilst these restrictions are in place local diversions would be in operation.
ACCESS ROAD, HERTFORD ROAD EN3 - 4583
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 1 September 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to close this road and suspend parking from the Access Road, Hertford Road between Nos. 506/508 Hertford Road on both sides of the road.
HEDGE LANE N13 - 4584
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works
Operational Date and times:
09:00 hours to 17:00 on 2 September 2025 for 1 day or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on this road from a point outside Nos. 22/24 and Nos. 26/28.
The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs. Access would be maintained only as far as the works allow
