What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers.

The General Effects of the Orders would be:

(i) To introduce Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays, operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey;

No.24 Gladesmore Road N15, opposite No.105/107 Birkbeck Road N8, (adjacent double yellow lines opposite No.107 extended south by 2 metres), Opposite Roseland Close on Cavell Road N17, No.11 Milton Park N6, No.194 Devonshire Hill Lane N17, No.17 Coleridge Road N8, No.28 Grove Park Road N15, No.5/7 Hanover Road N15, No.72 Hennigham Road N17 (in footway), No.91 & No.159 Morley Avenue N22, adjacent to No.157 Lordship Lane on Lordsmead Road N17 (adjacent double yellow lines to be shortened by 1.6 metres), No.392 White Hart Lane N17, No.34 Wellington Avenue N15, No.75 Ferme Park Road N8, Adjacent to No.419 High Road (Space apartments) on Myddleton Road N22, No.11 Cadoxton Avenue N15, No.55 Hanover Road N15, No.24 Outram Road N22, Opposite No.2/4 Risley Avenue N17, from the northern property boundary of No.43 Boyton Road N8 heading north, No.165 The Roundway N17, No.23 Glendish Road N17, No.45 Woodstock Road N4, outside No.21-43 Tiverton Road N15, No.127 St Loy’s Road N17, No.88 Upper Tollington Park N4, at the northern end of Myddleton Road N8 (eastern nose-in bay opposite flats 1 to 12 Boyton Road), No.43 Brantwood Road N17, No.56 Hanbury Road N17, from the southern property boundary of No.68 Winkfield Road N22 heading south, No.17 Granville Road N4 (adjacent single yellow line on No.19 to be extended by approximately 3.5 metres), No. 61 Gospatrick Road N17, No.37 Culvert Road N15..

(ii) To convert existing Disabled Bays to Dedicated Disabled parking bays, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey: Adjacent to No.27/29 Salisbury Road on Moselle Avenue N22, No.8 Chestnut Road N17, No.26 Princes Avenue N22, opposite No.71/79 Tamar Way on Chesnut Road N17, No.125 Hewitt Road N8 (extended east by 1.5 metres), No.58 Hampden Road N8, No.33/35 Clifton Gardens N15, No.122 Wightman Road N4, No.102 Gloucester Road N17.

The Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which it would be authorised. No other permit or blue badge would be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.

(iii) To revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(i) of this notice.

(iv) To make map-based changes on the following roads to ensure the Council’s internal map-based records match the restrictions on the ground (no changes will be made to the restrictions on site):

1. To relocate the southernmost disabled parking bay outside No.21 to 43 Tiverton Road N15 northeast by 6.6. metres and extend the adjacent double yellow lines by the same length.

A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online consultation portal: https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing:

traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.
