Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
A224 Morants Court Road, Dunton Green. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of barrier repairs, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A224 Morants Court Road, Dunton Green, on or after 19th September 2025 or until the works have been completed.
The closures will be over two weekends from Friday 19th September 2025 at 22:00hrs to Monday 22nd September 2025 05:00hrs and then again Friday 26th September 2025 at 22:00hrs to Monday 29th September 2025 05:00hrs.
The road will be closed between A224 Polhill and A224 London Road.

Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A25 The Square, Riverhead, on or after 2nd September 2025 for up to 1 night between 20.00hrs and 05.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 4.
The alternative route is via A224 Amherst Hill, A224 London Road, A225 High Street, A225 Tonbridge Road, A225 Riverhill Weald Interchange, A21 Sevenoaks Bypass, A25 Westerham Road, A25 Worships Hill, A25 The Square and vice versa.
B2027 Clinton Lane, Bough Beech, TN8 7NR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2027 Clinton Lane, Bough Beech, on or after 7th September 2025 for up to 1 night between 01.00hrs and 04.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Open View Farm and Chiddingstone House.

Because of Openreach pole test works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2042 Cold Arbor Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Back Lane and Bessels Green Road.

Billet Hill, Ash, TN15 7HB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Billet Hill, Ash, on or after 1st September 2025 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside the Telephone Exchange.
The alternative route is via Fawkham Green Road, Brands Hatch Road, Fawkham Road, A20 London Road, Ash Lane, South Ash Road, The Street and vice versa.
Button Street, Swanley, BR8 7NU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Button Street, Swanley, on or after 1st September 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Cedar Lodge.
The alternative route is via Button Street, A20 London Road, A225 Dartford Road, A225 Main Road, Ship Lane, Wood Street and vice versa.
Camberwell Lane, Ide Hill. TN14 6JG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the installation of a new electricity supply, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Camberwell Lane, Ide Hill, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 3.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Chevening Lane, Knockholt, TN14 7LA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chevening Lane, Knockholt, on or after 5th September 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from 40M south of the entrance for The Grange to Rookery Cottage.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Chipstead Park, Sevenoaks, TN13 2SL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Thames Water works to replace a section of pipe, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chipstead Park, Sevenoaks, on or after 1st September 2025 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
Chipstead Park will be closed outside number 46.
The alternative route is via Chipstead Park and vice versa.
Church Road, Sundridge, TN14 6DS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the repair of a defective pit frame and cover in the carriageway, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Sundridge, on or after 6th September 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 40.
The alternative route is via Church Road, A25 Main Road, New Road and vice versa.
Farmstead Drive, Edenbridge, TN8 6DS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of remedial works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Farmstead Drive, Edenbridge, on or after 1st September 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Harrow Close.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Haxted Place, Edenbridge, TN8 6JU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Haxted Place, Edenbridge, on or after 1st September 2025 for up to 13 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Heaverham Road, Kemsing, TN15 6NR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Heaverham Road, Kemsing, on or after 1st September 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 2 Walnut Tree Cottage.
The alternative route is via Heaverham Road, High Street, West End, Childsbridge Lane, Church Street, A25 High Street, A25 Maidstone Road, Broad Oak Lane, Watery Lane and vice versa.
Highlands Hill, Swanley, BR8 7ND (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Highlands Hill, Swanley, on or after 18th September 2025 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 14.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Highlands Cottage.
The alternative route is via Highlands Hill, B258 Main Road/Top Dartford Road/Barn End Lane/High Road/Church Hill, A225 Hawley Road, Ship Lane, Wood Street, Swanley Village Road and vice versa.
Hodsoll Street, Hodsoll Street, TN15 7LD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of tree cutting and maintenance of overhead spans, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Hodsoll Street, Hodsoll Street, on or after 1st September 2025 for up to 12 days between 09:00hrs and 15:00hrs or until the works have been completed.
Hodsoll Street will be closed for the entire length, in two parts to minimise disruption.
Diversion 1: Rosemary Lane, Bunkers Hill, Pease Hill, Malthouse Road, Stansted Hill, Fairseat Lane and vice versa.
Diversion Route 2: A227 Wrotham Road, Chapmans Hill, Bunkers Hill, Ridley Hill, Haven Hill and vice versa.
Hopgarden Lane, Sevenoaks, TN13 1UF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach pole replacement, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hopgarden Lane, Sevenoaks, on or after 3rd September 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Grassy Lane and Ash Climb.
The alternative route is via Grassy Lane, Burntwood Road, Ashgrove Road, Hopgarden Lane and vice versa.
North Street, Cowden. TN8 7HX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of North Street, Cowden, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Chantlers Mead.
The alternative route is via North Street, Spode Lane, B2026 Hartfield Road, Butterwell Hill, High Street and vice versa.
Park Place, Bessels Green (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Family Fun Day 20 September 2025
Kent County Council intends to make an Order for the safety of the public whilst an event is being held on the highway to temporarily prohibit the use of Vehicles on:- Park Place, Bessels Green
The alternative route is via A25 Westerham Road, Bessels Green Road and vice versa.
The Order will become effective on 20th September 2025 between 12.00hrs and 18.00hrs. The restrictions/prohibitions specified in this notice will apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs in operation.
Nothing in the Order will apply to:
Any Vehicle being used for Ambulance purposes, Coastguard/RNLI, Fire Brigade or Police services.
Anything done by a Statutory Undertaker vehicle in connection with an emergency repair.
Anything done with the permission or at the direction of Event Organisers or a Police Constable in Uniform.
Park Lane, Godden Green, TN15 0JN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage cleansing works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Park Lane, Godden Green, on or after 2nd September 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs an 15.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Spinners Wood and Stake Farm Cottage.
The alternative route is via Park Lane, Grove Road, Hall Hill, Stone Street, Stone Street Road, High Cross Road, A227 Tonbridge Road/Stumble Hill/Shipbourne Road/Dry Hill Park Road, B245 London Road/Tonbridge Road, Mill Lane, Carters Hill, Park Lane and vice versa.
Parkgate Road, Orpington, BR6 7PY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage cleansing works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Parkgate Road, Orpington, on or after 3rd September 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the underpass to outside Park Gate House.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Pilgrims Way, Kemsing, TN15 6TB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the replacement of a telegraph pole and rehang associated cabling, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Kemsing, on or after 1st September 2025 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between numbers 69 and 85.
The alternative route is via The Landway, West End, Childsbridge Lane and vice versa.
Puddledock Lane, Westerham, TN16 1PY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow The Toys Hill Village Show, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Puddledock Lane, Westerham.
A closure is planned between 13.30hrs and 18.30hrs on 6th September 2025.
Puddledock Lane will be closed outside The Village Hall.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Toys Hill, Puddledock Lane and vice versa.
Shelleys Lane, Knockholt, TN14 7LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a pole replacement, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Shelleys Lane, Knockholt, on or after 1st September 2025 for up to 1 day between 08:30hrs and 15:30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Burlings Lane for approximately 440m.
The alternative route is via Main Road, Brasted Lane, Burlings Lane and vice versa.
Swanley Village Road, Swanley, BR8 7NQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Swanley Village Road, Swanley, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 3 days between 09.30hrs and 14.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Nemefield Cottage and Elizabethan Cottage.
The alternative route is via Swanley Village Road, Highlands Hill, B258 Main Road, Home Hill, Lower Road, Clement Street, Arnolds Lane, A225 Main Road, Ship Lane, Wood Street and vice versa.

Because of a stopcock renewal, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Landway, Kemsing, on or after 4th September 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 29A.
The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way, Childsbridge Lane, West End and vice versa.
Wested Lane, Crockenhill. BR8 8EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of the installation of mobile telecommunications equipment, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wested Lane, Crockenhill, on or after 15th September 2025 for up to 4 nights between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 2.
The alternative route is via Eynsford Road, Main Road, B258 Broadway/Green Court Road/Goldsel Road, B2173 High Street/London Road and vice versa.
Winkhurst Green Road, Bough Beech, TN8 7AN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Winkhurst Green Road, Bough Beech, on or after 3rd September 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Bore Place Road northwards for approx 575m.
The alternative route is via Bore Place Road, B2027 Tonbridge Road/Chequers Hill/Clinton Lane/Bough Beech Road, B2042 Ide Hill Road/Green Lane, Scallops and vice versa.
