TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS – 30 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT EXTENSION ON FRITH END ROAD, BORDON
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council (“the Council”) proposes to make the above-mentioned Order, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 84 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
General nature and effects of the Order: Will be to implement a 30 mile per hour speed limit (currently 40 miles per hour) on C98 Frith End Road between a point 30 metres north-west of its junction with A325 Farnham Road and a point 40 metres north of the private access entrance point to the properties known as Wychwood, Highview and Meadow View, an approximate distance of 1,070 metres.

All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Under the requirements of current access to information legislation, any statement you make to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished. TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as “The Hampshire (Various Roads, Bentley and Frith End) (30 and 40 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2025.”
