TEMPORARY CLOSURE 407575 LANSDOWN (STROUD TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407575 Lansdown Road from outside the property known as ‘Rothsay Villas’ to outside the property known as ‘1 Lyn Bank’ for a distance of approximately 20 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pipe renewal works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401206 FRETHERN LANE (FRETHERNE WITH SAUL PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401206 Frethern Lane Road from its junction with Arlingham Road to its junction with Passage Road for a distance of approximately 1450 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pipe works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS

(CHALFORD AND BISLEY WITH LYPIATT PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the said closures is for roadmender works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401280 Abnash Road, Chalford Hill from outside the property known as ‘Woodlands’ to outside of the property known as ‘Wheatsheaf’ for a distance of approximately 103 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for safety whilst a bridge is inspected.

The reason for the said closures is for footway resurfacing works.

The said footways are expected to be closed on a rolling programme, commencing 8th September 2025, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. This intended Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously, as required, and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 19th September 2025.

The reason for the said closure is for pipe and boundary box renewal works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 10th September 2025 until 17:00hrs on 12th September 2025 only or until the said works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C206 RYEFORD ROAD SOUTH (STONEHOUSE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C206 Ryeford Road South from outside the entrance to an electricity distribution site to outside the property known as ‘Stanley Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 45 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for boundary box installation works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 14:30hrs each day from 8th September 2025 until 9th September 2025 only or until the said works have been completed.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH MST10 (STONEHOUSE TOWN) (STROUD DISTRICT)

Gloucestershire County Council has by this notice closed temporarily, under the relevant provisions of Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath MST 10 in Stonehouse, from its junction with MST 52 and then extends in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 160 metres to a point at the south western corner of the property ‘The Red Lodge’ and shown on the Map by a bold solid black line marked A to B.

The said public footpath falls within Stonehouse in the Stroud District, Gloucestershire.

The said closure is necessary to protect the public while essential utilities works take place.

The said Public Footpath was originally closed for 5 days by Urgent Notice commencing 11th August 2025. However, the said works are still ongoing so it is now necessary to extend the said closure by an Order which can authorise the closure of the said Public Footpath for up to six months from the date of the original Notice. The said Public Footpath is however expected to be closed until 29th August 2025 or until the works have been completed.

If after six months from the date of the original Notice the closure is still required, it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

Alternative Routes – as signed on site and shown on the said Map. Pedestrian access and emergency access will not be maintained due to the works involving excavations in the narrow path.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART FOOTPATH EEA 24 (EASTINGTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has further extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath EEA 24 from a point 20 metres North of Great Oldbury Drive extending in a generally East South Easterly direction for approximately 225 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EEA/27.

The closure is necessary to protect the public while construction works take place.

This temporary closure Order came into force on the 28th March 2022 and was subsequently extended until 27th September 2025. However, as works are still ongoing the Secretary of State has now granted a further extension until 27th March 2027 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
