Dartford, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

HIGHWAYS

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,  makes or intends to make the following Orders.

DARTFORD AREA

A206 Bob Dunn Way, Stone & Rennie Drive, Dartford DA1 5QG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of the resurfacing and texturing of J1a West roundabout and J1a overbridge, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A206 Bob Dunn Way, Stone and Rennie Drive, Dartford, on or after 16th September 2025 for up to 5 nights between 22.00hrs and 05.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

A206 Bob Dunn Way will be closed eastbound from Marsh Street North to the Junction of the Littlebrook Interchange Roundabout (A282 J1a).

Rennie Drive will be closed from the Littlebrook Interchange to the Dartford crossing control access roundabout.

The alternative route is via A206 Bob Dunn Way is via A206 Bob Dunn Way, A2026 Burnham Road, A2026 Victoria Road, A2026 Hythe Street, A226 Home Gardens, A226 East Hill, A296 Park Road, A296 Princes Road to J1b Princes Road Roundabout, A282 J1b to the A282 J2 Distributor Road, A2 East Bound to the Bean Interchange, B255 Bean Lane, B255 Bean Road, B255 St Clements Way, A206 St Clements Way and A206 Crossways Boulevard.

The alternative route for Rennie Drive is via Halcrow Avenue and Marsh Street North.

 

A226 Dartford Road, Dartford, DA1 4AF (PROHIBITION OF EASTBOUND TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A226 Dartford Road, Dartford, on or after 7th September 2025 for up to 1 day between 08.00hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed eastbound between 9 and 1D.

The alternative route is via B2174 Princes Road, A2018 Shepherds Lane and A226 Dartford Road.
