Rover Way - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Works on or Near to the Highway

Ar 21 Awst 2025, gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd wrth arfer ei bwerau o dan adran 14 (1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd), a'r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, Orchymyn a fydd yn atal unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio neu fynd ar hyd yr Ffordd Rover o’r gyffordd â’r gylchfan wrth yr A4232 i’r gyffordd â Seawall Road.
Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i hwyluso gwaith ar neu ger y briffordd, a disgwylir iddo ddod i rym o ddydd Sadwrn 23 Awst 2025 tan ddydd Sul 28 Medi 2025 neu nes i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau. Yr oriau gweithredu disgwyliedig yw o 7:00pm bob nos tan 5.30am bob bore. Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.
Y llwybr arall i gerbydau yr effeithir arnynt gan y cau ffyrdd uchod fydd ar hyd Ffordd Rover, Heol Casnewydd, Plas Fitzalan, Stryd Adam, Ffordd Gyswllt Ganolog a Ffordd Gyswllt Ddwyreiniol y Bae, yr ail allanfa oddi ar y gylchfan a Ffordd Rover. Enw'r Gorchymyn yw “Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Ffordd Rover, Caerdydd) (Cau Ffordd Dros Dro) 2025”.

THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (ROVER WAY, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
On the 21st August 2025, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicle from using or proceeding along Rover Way from its junction with the roundabout by the A4232 to its junction with Seawall Road.
This Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near to the highway and is expected to be in operation from Saturday 23rd August 2025 until Sunday 28th September 2025 or until works are complete. The expected hours of operation are from 7:00pm each evening until 5.30am each morning.
The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the above closure will be via Rover way, Newport Road, Fitzalan Place, Adam Street, Central Link, Eastbay Link Road, the 2nd exit off the roundabout and Rover Way. This Order is known as “The County Council of The City and County of Cardiff (Rover Way, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025”.
