DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14 Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.
Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso gwaith ar y ffordd fynediad i Ganolfan Hamdden Tonyrefail.
Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau’r Ffordd Fynediad Ddienw i Ganolfan Hamdden Tonyrefail, o’i chyffordd â Heol Waunrhydd, tua’r de am bellter o 40 metr.
Llwybr Amgen – ewch ar hyd Heol Waunrhydd a’r B4278 Heol Gilfach.
Nodwch – Bydd ffordd ymadael bresennol y Ganolfan Hamdden wrth y gyffordd â Heol Gilfach yn cael ei rheoli gan oleuadau traffig 3 ffordd dros dro a bydd yn cael ei defnyddio i gael mynediad ac ymadael maes parcio’r Ganolfan Hamdden.
Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr ac ar gyfer cyrraedd eiddo.
Fydd DIM mynediad ar gyfer cerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys.
Mae disgwyl i’r ffordd fod ar gau rhwng y dyddiadau ac amseroedd canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau: -

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(UNNAMED ACCESS ROAD INTO TONYREFAIL LEISURE CENTRE)
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The closure is necessary to facilitate works on the access road to Tonyrefail Leisure Centre.
The effect of the Order will be to close the Unnamed Access Road into the Tonyrefail Leisure Centre, from its junction with Waunrhydd Road, southwards for a distance of 40 metres.
Alternative Route – available via Waunrhydd Road and B4278 Gilfach Road
NB The existing Leisure Centre exit road at the junction with Gilfach Road will be controlled by 3-way temporary traffic lights and will be used to both access and exit the Leisure Centre car park
Access will be maintained for pedestrians and to premises.
Access WILL NOT be maintained for emergency services.
The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -
• Full closures between 27th August – 24th September 2025
