Plantation Drive, North Ferriby - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

PLANTATION DRIVE, NORTH FERRIBY (PART) 

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Plantation Drive, North Ferriby (outside numbers 84 to 71, outside 70 to Wood Drive and Wood Drive to outside number 1) commencing Monday 8 September 2025 to allow for the replacement of existing clean water and main fittings.

The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 September 2025.

The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Plantation Drive, Corby Park and Wood Drive, North Ferriby. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. 

The road will remain open for pedestrians, residents access and emergency services only.
