Minster Way, Woodmansey (Part) - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Works
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC MINSTER WAY, WOODMANSEY (PART)
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Minster Way, Woodmansey (between Figham roundabout and Peters Way roundabout) commencing Wednesday 10 September 2025 until Friday 12 September 2025 THEN Minster Way, Woodmansey (between Lincoln Way roundabout and Ward Way roundabout) commencing Friday 12 September 2025 until Tuesday 16 September 2025 to enable carriageway maintenance works to take place safely. (The works will take place overnight between 19.00 hrs and 05.00 hrs)
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within the given times.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via:
Hull Road, Eastern Bypass, Figham Road, Beckside, Flemingate, Flemingate Roundabout, Minster Yard South, Keldgate, Admiral Walker Road, Queensgate, Woodmansey Mile Roundabout, Woodmansey Mile, Victoria Road, Victoria Road Roundabout, Lincoln Way, Regiment Roundabout, Minster Way, Ward Way, Ward Way Roundabout, Beverley.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure.
The road will remain open for pedestrians, residents access and emergency services only.
