Beever Street & Rhodes Street - Temporary Prohibition Of Driving For ENWL Cable Excavations

THE OLDHAM - BEEVER STREET & RHODES STREET
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2025

The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that part of Beever Street from its junction with Yorkshire Street for a distance of 57 metres in a westerly direction and Rhodes Street between Wright Street and Beever Street.

The alternative route will be Eastbound: Wright Street and Cardinal Street (northwest bound and south westbound - no signed diversion) and Wright Street and Cardinal Street

The Order is to be made to allow ENWL cable excavations and will be in force for 2 weeks from 1st September 2025, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
