ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC144932044: The City of Manchester (Wilbraham Road, Chorlton Park Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Wilbraham Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Barlow Moor Road, High Lane, Edge Lane, Wilbraham Road vice versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate remedial works to correct defect in carriageway. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 28th August 2025 to the 29th August 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 and again on 01/09 between the hours of 09.30 and 15.00.. The order shall come into operation on the 28th August 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
