Angus, Arbroath - Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting - To allow for the Arbroath Music Festival.

What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 18 August 2025, Angus Council made The Angus Council (Arbroath Music Festival) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2025, under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, so that a relevant event may take place. The effect of the Order is to (i) prohibit any vehicle from being driven at a speed exceeding twenty miles per hour on Dundee Road/Ladyloan (A92), Queens Drive and Ladyloan (rear of Old Ladyloan School), all Arbroath and (ii) to prohibit the waiting of any vehicle, except taxis, on Queens Drive, Arbroath between the hours of 9am and 11pm on 25 August 2025. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained. Full details of the Order are available at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders. The maximum duration in terms of the act is 18 months.
