(D17/2 NETTLINGFLAT, HERIOT)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (D17/2 Nettlingflat, Heriot) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 27 August 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for BT works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D17/2 at Nettlingflat, Heriot.

There is no alternative route. Local access will be maintained with a short delay.

(D75/5 KENNETSIDEHEADS, KELSO) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (D75/5 Kennetsideheads, Kelso) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 27 August 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for BT works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D75/5 at Kennetsideheads, Kelso.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the D75/5 and C81 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

(D92/4 GREENHEAD, KELSO)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (D92/4 Greenhead, Kelso) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 27 August 2025 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00. The Order is required for Scottish Water works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D92/4 at Greenhead, Kelso.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the D92/4, C58, B6396, B6352 and D92/4 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at  www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.

(VARIOUS ROADS - NATIONAL TESTING) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025

The Scottish Borders Council (Various Roads - National Testing) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 26 August 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 29 August 2025 as detailed below. The Order is required for National Testing Coring works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall (i) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle; and (ii) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along the following roads in the Scottish Borders on the dates and at the times specified:

(a)   Closure 1: from 09:00 to 16:00 on 26 August to 28 August 2025 - North Street, Eyemouth;

(b)  Closure 2: from 09:00 to 16:00 on 26 August to 28 August 2025 - Friarsgate, Jedburgh. The alternative route for northbound traffic is via Exchange Street, High Street and Pleasance to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing; and

(c)   Closure 3: from 09:00 to 16:00 on 27 August to 29 August 2025 - B6361

Buccleuch Street, Melrose. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via

High Street, St Mary’s Road and Abbey Street to the point of closure; and

(d)  No Waiting: from 08:00 to 16:00 on 27 August to 29 August 2025 - B6374 High Street, Melrose.
