TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000144808202: The City of Manchester (Hardman Street, Deansgate Ward)(Temporary No waiting and No Loading) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to restrict vehicular traffic from Joddrell Street to Rose Street. The City Council is satisfied that this restriction is necessary in order to facilitate a crane for glazing replacements. It is expected that the works will be in progress on the 3rd September 2025 only. The order shall come into operation on 3rd September 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If the restriction ends within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Dated: 21st August 2025.
ORDER NO. MCC145067482: The City of Manchester (Garswood Road, Fallowfield Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Garswood Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Princess Road, Platt Lane, Lloyd Street South, Garswood Road vice versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate gas mains replacement works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 1st September 2025 to the 16th September 2025. The order shall come into operation on the 1st September 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
