London Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Road Works

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD

(A30 LONDON ROAD (PART), SUNNINGDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to: Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along westbound carriageway of A30 London Road, Sunningdale A30 London Road from its junction with B383 Chobham Road westward for a distance of 210 metres.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the proposed Order is via A30 London Road, A322 Bracknell Road, A332 Swinley Road, A332 Kings Ride, A329 High Street, A329 London Road, A329 Blacknest Road and A30 London Road.

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely telecoms pole replacement and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public. The proposed Order shall be in operation from 20:00 hours on Monday 8 September until 05:00 hours on Tuesday 9 September 2025. Vehicles will be prohibited when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
