High Street, Temporary Prohibition Of Waiting Due To Event

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WIHDSOR & MAIDENHEAD

(A329 HIGH STREET (PART), ASCOT (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to: Prohibit Waiting on that length of A329 High Street, Ascot on the south side, from the terminus of the permanent No Waiting restriction at the entrance to Her Majesty's Representatives Car Park in westward direction for a distance of approx. 320 metres to the terminus of the permanent No Waiting restriction at the entrance to the Ascot Racecourse Stable Complex.

The purpose of the proposed Order is because of the likelihood of danger to the public caused by an anticipated increase in vehicle numbers due to activities being held on adjacent land and to facilitate the smooth & safe flow of traffic. The proposed Order will come into operation from 00:01 hours on Tuesday 8 September until 23:59 on Sunday 14 September 2025.
