What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 
SECTION 14 (1) - TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC A164 JOCKS LODGE (PART)

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the A164 Jocks Lodge (approximately 710m North of Dunflat Road junction inlcuding A1079 slip roads) commencing Thursday 11 September 2025 until 15 September 2026 (between 00.01 hrs until 00.01 hrs) to facilitate works on the road safely as part of the Jocks Lodge scheme (Please note traffic will be running on the newly constructed road instead)

The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within the given time.

(There is no diversion as traffic will be running on the newly constructed road)

The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.
