Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, has made an order the effect of which:

The Portbury Hundreds, Portbury, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 29 September 2025

Ref: T25-41

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order is required because of carriageway resurfacing works and will become operative on 29 September 2025, anticipated to be for 15 nights.

The working hours will be 8pm to 6am. The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule - The Portbury Hundreds entire extents.

Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:

Seven Road, Pill, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Date coming into force: 4 November 2025

Ref: SW25.26-132

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and permit form for premises which may only be accessed whilst the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by National Grid to carry out decayed pole change - erect new pole and reconductoring contract. This order will become operative on 4 November 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works, anticipated to be of 2 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in effect.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Date coming into force: 10 November 2025

Ref: SW25.26-137

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to stand a new pole. This order will become operative on the 10 November 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 6 hours in duration, from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, has made the order, the effect of which:

Kenn Moor Road and Moor Road, Yatton, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 26 August 2025

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order is required because of carriageway patching works and will become operative on 26 August 2025, anticipated to be of 2 working days. The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Station Road, Nailsea, North Somerset

Temporary Traffic Regulation Order and Temporary Suspension of Traffic Order 0538

Date coming into force: 26 August 2025

Ref: T25-39

Will be (1) To close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 of this notice. (2) To suspend, temporarily, the prohibition of driving traffic order specified in Schedule 2 of this notice.

This order was required because highway drainage maintenance works and will become operative on the 26 August 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the restriction may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be 9 days in duration, 24 hours a day. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force. The maximum period for the closure is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule 1 - Station Road, Nailsea from the junction of Laurel Drive to the junction of Nailsea Park.

Schedule 2 - Station Road, Nailsea the lengths of Station Road which extends from a point 130.67m east of its junction with Mizzymead Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 5.49m.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which:

Station Road, Flax Bourton, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by All Traffic Order 2025

Date coming into force: 2 September 2025

Will be to close, temporarily, to all traffic the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon vegetation tree trimming works. This order will become operative on the 2 September 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 2 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Pedestrians Order 2025

Date coming into Force: 1 September 2025

Ref: SW25.26-079

Will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians the lengths of footpaths specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of footpath.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon development work by Taylor Wimpey. This order will become operative on the 1 September 2025 for a maximum period of six months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be more than 6 months in duration. Appropriate pedestrian traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
